Advent Home Assisted Living

I placed my mother at Advent Assisted living in the beginning of 2023, and cannot speak highly enough of the facility and staff. The house is immaculately clean, the staff is amazing and the owner and her family became like family to us. They bent over backwards to meet my mother’s needs. The owner stayed in touch with me daily and responded to my messages the same day. They make fresh healthy food for their residents, and make sure they are well-fed and hydrated. My mother needed a lot of help as she was bed bound and they never once gave her a hard time when she needed to be changed etc.

The owner and her family are so kind and caring. The staff is friendly, well-trained and supportive. When we needed to bring hospice into the facility they were flexible, and open to having the hospice staff come and go when needed. I was able to visit my mom and be with her. I was nervous to move my mom into an assisted living facility, but those fears quickly disappeared when I met the owner and her family, and knew my mom would be taken care of so well. I highly recommend Advent Assisted Living for your loved one.

Advent Assisted Living accepted both of my parents in April of this year even though both were suffering from dementia, had pretty intensive physical needs, and initially were resistant to staying. The owner of the facility, an RN, worked hard with us to come up with a care plan that would work for both and to ensure the best possible transition for them. She and her staff were very caring and respectful of my parents. They treated my parents with such kindness and dignity that they soon earned my parents’ trust. They cared for my father through his decline and death a few weeks ago and have been so wonderful helping my mother through her grief and loss.

The facility is comfortable and immaculate and has a nice home-like quality. The small size means that the staff has the time to meet all of the residents’ needs and tailor services to their needs.

I placed my good friend with Advent Assisted Living last spring. His care has been excellent and I am completely satisfied with the care that he receives. The staff is always ready to address his needs.

After several ER visits and stays with rehab facilities, he entered Advent suffering with nausea and was quickly put on the path to a full recovery. He later underwent hip surgery and has received good care during his recovery. His daily needs are met without delay.
